SEPARATING THOUGHTS FROM EMOTIONS

Today, you will learn how to separate your thoughts from emotions in order to find emotional freedom and meet the true underlying need difficult emotions are covering.

When we investigate emotions, we discover a “story” attached to them. There may be a belief of being wronged, or that something is missing, or that we did something wrong or are a victim in some way.

Whether we have experienced actual trauma or not, we stay locked into suffering from certain emotions because of the thoughts we have attached to them. We perpetuate the emotional suffering by the stories we keep telling ourselves about why we’re suffering.
